More and more infrastructure is being put in place. This Blog is part of it. Development has been stalled for the last few months due to other concerns but is still continuing, albeit slowly.
As of now there is a rewrite of the lower level database access infrastructure. It modeled after a pattern that is loosely defined as the "Generic DAO Adapter Pattern." It uses Java Generics to eliminate more repeated, boilerplate code and also leverages EJB 3 Entity Beans.
